Elastic wave tomography
It is suitable for detailed velocity structure analysis of the ground.
"Elastic Wave Tomography" is a exploration method that utilizes the surface, boreholes, and horizontal tunnels by setting up vibration points and receiving points around the target exploration area. When vibrations are generated at the vibration points, seismic waves are observed at many receiving points, and the initial arrival times are recorded. Using the observed initial arrival times, the velocity structure of the ground is analyzed. Compared to surface refraction seismic exploration, it is expected to improve the accuracy of velocity distribution analysis within the target ground. [Features] ■ Directly elucidates the physical properties of the underground ■ Visualizes invisible information using X-ray CT in the medical field *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
